Adult Spelling Bee

Join us for our Fourth Annual Adult Spelling Bee

Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre | Marietta, Georgia

 

A night of laughs, some really unusual on-stage antics, and truly funny attempts at spelling difficult words – that’s the “Bee,” a once a year event, hosted by Communities In Schools of Georgia in Marietta/Cobb County (CISMCC).

 

How does The Bee Work?

Participants will spell in teams of 3. Each team will be sponsored, with the team name and costumes being determined by the sponsor.

 

How to be part of The Bee?

General admission tickets for The Bee are just $20. Students 18 and under/Military/First Responders are $15. VIP tickets are $60 and include exclusive access to a pre-event and intermission party with heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and 2 drink tickets.

Other sponsorship opportunities include, “Queen Bee”, “Honeycomb”, “Word”, “Letter” and “Beehive” Sponsoring a second chance, $100, contributing to the silent auction and taking part in the 50/50 raffle the day of the Bee. CLICK HERE to become a sponsor!

The vision of CIS of Georgia in Marietta/Cobb County (CISMCC) is that through a powerful, collaborative community effort, families will be provided with the necessary resources, inspiration and motivation for all students to obtain a high school diploma.
